Pet and Animal focused trade shows
10Times.com and TSNN.com are two of the the most popular trade show and conference search sites for every kind of product.
For planning conversations and inquiries at trade shows consider these ideas:
For Licensing opportunities think about a patented product or component being developed and sold to a few market segments or distribution channels that could be licensed or partnered to sell into non-competing others.
There are patented products that have been replaced by newer versions or are in the name of companies or individuals that are out of business or have been sold to other companies that are no longer interested in them. Trade shows are a good venue for finding contact information for the people within a large company that manage the patents and possible negotiations.
SEEING CONFLICTING PATENTS, IN A SEARCH, SHOULD BE JUST BE THE BEGINNING OF A NEW SERIES OF QUESTIONS FOR OPPORTUNITIES.
Start planning now to attend shows that exhibit products, materials and technology that you could use or sell. Think about all of the cross pollination that is possible across market niches.
Some of these listings are pet focused service providers.
Find patent, packaging, design and manufacturing companies that focus on pet products at these events.
Look for regional B 2 B events in between national big ones.
Look for the pet owner group events too!
