How much can you share in a one minute investor pitch deck or business plan presentation?
At business venture funding events you’ll usually have limited and specific amount of time to speak.
How can you prepare how much you can say in a professional rate of speaking?
When written out, a 60 second elevator pitch is approximately 20 lines of text at 7 – 9 words per line
This works when using 14 point Times New Roman font.
You won’t be reading the words, but this will help you plan how much and in what order you need to say it.
PRACTICE! many times in front of a mirror and in front of people who will give knowledgeable feedback.
Pitch events at college business school events are Free and worth observing in your preparation.
Body language and personal presentation / grooming that are appropriate to your audience is important.
