Active independent inventors group list 8 22 26

The United Inventors Association, UIAUSA.org, has had their list of affiliated, independent, member-led, inventor education groups for many years. Other organizations have copied and edited that list from each other over many years. Unfortunately, the UIA has not had the time or staff to update or keep the list updated and has not let the groups know how or where to send updates.

In August 2026 Dave Savage, founder of the Inventors Education Forum took on the challenge.
Dave attempted to contact all listings and web searches were made to find current independent groups in each state, that are inviting to the public and have scheduled in-person and or Zoom meetings.

As a result, this BETA list is all that remains of the formerly large list. Replies from a few possibilities await. This list does not include university groups, though some welcome the public. Another list will need to be researched.

Before the internet, the independent inventor’s group meetings were the only way for novice inventors and dreamers to get and share knowledge and experiences of the inventors journey and have a Q &A with related experts.
Now there are dozens of websites / organizations with events, webinars, articles, audio podcasts and videos to connect with; Plus, on YouTube, of course. The Libraries and Blog of the Inventors Education Forum are growing daily with some of these information sources.
